I love this quote from Albert Schweitzer. To me, it sums up the meaning behind our existence. What better way to reflect on one’s life than against the lofty ideals referenced in this quote.

At the end of my days, I would like to know that I served those around me with a generosity of spirit; with compassion for the challenges of others and the knowledge that I have helped as many people as I have had the opportunity to do so.
